Let's Call The Whole Thing Off (Louis Armstrong & Ella Fitzgerald)

I love this song and I've found this interesting video in the youtube. You will be able to differentiate pronunciation of American English through the voices of Louis Armstrond and Ella Fitzgerald!!! Enjoy it!

Thanks! That's great! I had read the lyrics which can be found in:

It'd be worth to add them to your post for a complete pleasant "phonetics and spelling exercise".

Hi Shaeleigh,

very nice song and curious video, it is really good.

But I don't know why you say the British and American English, because I think both of them are from USA, aren't they?

Congratulations for this post!

I pretended to write the song too but I don't know why, it is impossible to write in verse in this kind of blogs!
I'll put the link, better.

Blog writer, maybe you have the reason(I'ts why I write "I belive"). I'm not sure if it's the diference between americans or american and british... Perhaps virgina could help us.

The song was written by Americans, that's true but differences in language... pronunciation and even spelling can be from both or only one country!
